Nashville School of the Arts
ACT Intervention Program

________________________________________________________________________

The ACT intervention program is a program designed to help increase the ACT scores of students. Our sincere hope is that all students will qualify for the HOPE scholarship given by the State of Tennessee. The ACT intervention program entails students coming to Saturday classes, taking a practice ACT, and learning study skills and test-taking strategies in math, science, and English that will enable them to achieve high scores on the ACT. We want to equip students with every available tool to help them succeed.

The students will be in class from 8:30 AM until 12:00 noon each Saturday leading up to the October ACT. There is a fifteen minute break given mid-way through each session. Teachers and students will be provided with ACT preparation books. You can expect a class size of 30 – 35 students each week.
